Introduction:

My name is Lori Applegate.  Currently, I am the librarian at Legacy Traditional School in Casa Grande, Arizona. This portfolio is the final project for my Masters of Instructional Technology with a School Librarian endorsement at the University of Nebraska Kearney. This portfolio will showcase my achievements during the master’s program.  The artifacts are each presented on the standards page they represent.  You may go to the ALA/AASL  Standards page to access the artifacts. The “My Background” page will include links that lead you to documents which clearly explain my background as a media specialist. 

The UNK Masters of Instructional Technology Program has offered me the opportunity for a solid education, and growth as a media specialist.  The instructors at UNK have been unparalleled in their abilities, and support, to me as a student.  Thank you to my UNK professors, and to my family for all of your support during my work in the UNK Master’s Program.  Thank you for taking the time to preview my work.
